PHILOSOPHY

In the field of communication sales new words, dictated by the frenetic pace of fashion and necessity, pop up nearly every day. In today's departments of Information Science young men and women, perfectly clothed in globalization and designer labels, study subjects such as "consensus engineering". Even in times like these we opt for the simplest of philosophies, which leads us back to "strategies at work". It might be because we like to work in tangibility, or perhaps because we find ourselves most at ease in projects where good old two plus two must equal four, or maybe because our frame of mind leads us to open our mouths only when we have something serious to say.

TOOLS

Communication which leads to results, regardless of the tools used: that is our point of view. Therefore even a last minute promotional or the most basic of print ads is the product of a meticulous analysis of scenarios, of coherence and of the personalities of our clients...but most of all it comes from the ability to provide answers which are at once rational and creative. Our private and public sector clients prove it, often in a very wide range of fields, as well as a vocation in the mass market and in social communication.

STILL YOUNG, DESPITE AGE

Quite a few years ago, when the concept of "communications" in Italy was little more than a rudimentary instinct and marketing and creative individuals furtively tore out pages of their studies at unlucky libraries lacking a photocopier (which at the time was every single library...), two important things occurred in Florence: the first ever university class in communications and Image.
Leading both was a quite clever professor, Gilberto Tinacci Mannelli, an enviable senior citizen as sharp as a tack, who still today is the ideologist and driving force of clever innovations such as the multimedia laboratories at the Region of Tuscany and at the Florence branch of RAI (Italian radio and television networks). Throughout the years, he has remained a point of reference for our work.
Since 1977, in keeping with the times, first Image then Alex James Jacopozzi welcomed new partners and changed the company structure but Alex never lost his courage when it came to innovation. He often endures long battles, mostly with those who believe that marketing and communication are necessary only in order to buy things for 1 Euro and resell them for 2. Today, time, experience and the privilege of having almost always dealt with intelligent people has led us to coin our own motto. It is the summary of a philosophy which has been with us throughout all of these years: strategies at work.

STRUCTURE

A team of professionals, who are specialists in marketing, advertising, and public relations, form the basis of a work method which is still able to view each individual professional as a bearer of experience, to widen our vision of markets and clients and to become the fulcrum of each specific project without charging the client for what he doesn't need at the moment, if ever. The managerial ability to create specific committees for each and every challenge in order to communicate with the client as entrepreneur to entrepreneur and, the vast majority of the time, as consultant to entrepreneur.

IL MANAGEMENT

Alex James Jacopozzi, sociologist – or rather socio-biologist, with an Associate's Degree in Macro Economics – has an "American-European" background and studied in the United States at the University of California in San Diego. Following his university studies he gained work experience at various scientific research companies as well as in United States federal departments for the promotion of international commerce.
